I used to use a SOS pad on my pipes like that. Put a LIL chrome polish paste on it or water. It always worked for me it would shine up pretty good. The rust wood come off if not to imbedded.

you might be able to make it shine again, but i doubt like new. unless of course you want to spend a lot of time on it....it looks like it's on a quad, if you shine it up it's just gonna get dirty again won't it??

Probably the only way to make that shine is to ceramic coat it. They have a silver looking coating.

Use steel wool, or and SOS pad that already has the soap in it, plus a paste made out of baking soda and water. Make the paste thick, but not to the point of being crumbly, then scrub the hell out of it. Should help somehwhat.

What material is it? Stainless steal? If it is stainless use a scotchbrite pad and Comet Kitchen Cleanser ( the same shit you clean your ss sink with.) I do not recommend using any sort of steel wool (on any metal); it can break off and embed itself in the pipe and will rust. I bought my bike exhaust used and a few hours with some Comet and a scotchbrite pad cleaned it up like new...and a thousand miles later it looked just like when I bought it:rolleyes:...

If your worried you can tape up the exhaust opening before you use steel wool or take the pipe off the bike and use an air gun to blow off the particals. I wouldnt use comet. I dont know why people even still use that stuff when cleaning sinks its like using wet sand paper.

Instead of Comet, use Barkeepers Friend cleanser.

Pro Circuit doesnt make anything for this machine, and I wouldnt go with them even if I did want to buy a new pipe.
