A CHANGE AT THE BREW: The Sean Lynch-Joanie Meyers morning show has been axed by WQBW-FM (97.3).

: General manager Kerry Wolfe confirms that the hosts are no longer with the station, saying only “Sean and Joanie did a great job on The Brew and were really hard workers.”

: Lynch learned he was out of work after Friday’s show. He calls the morning slot “probably the most fun job I ever had.”

: Wolfe says there are no plans for a format change at the rock station, but he had no word on a new morning show.

Recent ratings were good. I believe it was typical corporate cost cutting. We've all seen it or have been a victim to it ourselves. This is just a little more public. Doesn't suck any less though. For those that listened, I thank you.

I just know Lynch from a different board and I met him at State Fair Cruise the Milwaukee Mile a few years ago.
