looking for my dads car

as some of you that know me may know that my dad passed away about a year and a half ago. i have recently been looking for his project camaro he sold in the early ninetys. it was a 1979 rs i believe, it was tubbed out in the rear with a 350 with headers and a decent cam. the body and wheels were painted firetruck red with a tan inetior and no back seat. it was sold in the early to mid ninties from komp tech auto repair in west allis on greenfield. if anybody knows this car or has any info on its where abouts please let me know. i would really like to buy this car back as a tribute to my late father or at least know where it is and who ownes it.

i will have to do some serious digging to find the vin for that, i know i have some pictures i will scan in, the only paper work that i know i have is some receipts for the tubbing he had done at some chassis shop up north and a cam card. Thanks for all the help and keep the suggestions coming.
