View Full Version : car of the month?

That_Guy

ive seen it on a few other sites.. but.. i think it would be really cool to do here.

you take a bunch of photo's of your car list some of your mods and people vote between you and a few of the other members submissions you can only be car of the month once a year. maybe even post a picture of the car on the front page of the website.

just a thought.. i wouldn't mind managing it. come up with a few rules and what not.

Hey Nate, has any Cobalt guys tried doing a G5 rear end conversion. I think the trunk without the middle lights on a Cobalt would look pretty badass.

Just swap the rear bumper and trunk lid is what Im saying.

I've been looking for a black spoilerless G5 trunk to swap out with mine. Its a direct fit. I've wanted to do that for a long time now. Just cant find any  Infact i'm 99.9% sure that its a direct swap :)

Irish,...we can park your truck and the mountianqueer next to each other...for sure we'll win :rolf:rolf:rolf:rolf:rolf:rolf:rolf :goof

but you have to finish painting the truck bed....i'm sure myles has some paint left over that MIGHT match....

I'm guessing there's probably only about 6 people on this site that would actually give a sh!t about having their car be 'Car of the Month' on BCM..... LOL

should just do pic of the week like tccoa.com is set up....less crying just send a certain person in charge of doing it a picture of your vehicle and on a first come first serve basis post up the picture for that week

if that makes any sense?

Firefighter Z
08-28-2008, 07:22 PM
I vote NO cause then BCM will be a big whiner fest and I don't think the Admins want to hear it either.

And if something like this does happen, I think the OLD SCHOOLERS of BCM should get the chance on the ROTM.
Otherwise BCM will have NEWBIES registering to only want the car in the ROTM.

I dont know bout that either, because some idioits will send pictures of ugly ass cars just to try to be funny. I like the idea of voting. Maybe you can pick the 5 that we vote on out of a hat, if there are alot of submittions, but i still think voting is the best idea.

Good point....Honestly, I think to avoid problems, people should just post pics of thier cars in the Photo Section.

Or Maybe a Section JUST for Members rides. Not just the garage.:)

And now, I think that's enough trading semi-lame responses with you, too, there's enough going on on this forum without "The Official BCM Catfight" besides. We don't like each other's choice in cars......big deal. I don't know you, I have actually seen you maybe once, and can't even remember exactly what you look like, so I'm not going to get into it with a pretty-much total stranger. I'm sure in person, you're probably a cool person, because not too many of us ( me included) act exactly like we do here....I am actually a whole lot less bitchy in "real life," because a lot of the stuff I say here would be dependant on how it's said to get it's meaning across properly, and here all it is is words on a screen, so something that isn't even meant sarcastically could be taken that way. Anyway, relax. It's no big deal.
