With the Deals GM has going on right now, I finally bite the bullet and got a new vehicle. Picked up a 2008 sierra denali. 6.2L, AWD, Black leather. Bastard scoots for weighing 5800lbs.
Kyle and I took the side moldings and rear badges off today. I left the DENALI badge for now...

Thanks guys,

Apprently its good for consistant 14.7-8@93 all day long, it might make its way down there. The 6.2L and the 6 speed trans are quite fun! 13.9's with an intake, tune, and small exhaust mods.

this was at Kyles house, not my house. Thanks for the compliments guys.

I'll get the mods, a tune and get it to the track once this year.

Bring tom to the track...get some baselines then put the intake/tune in and see the improvement...that'd be a pretty cool post. I know, I know...I'm getting demanding, lol.

If you plan to use it as a truck stay away from aftermarket heads and cam swaps. As im sure you know you will loose all your bottom end power pretty quick.

only performance mods this truck is getting is an intake and tune. I have a S10 that will fit the rest of my truck performance

Employee pricing and 5000 cash back also.I ended up getting it for 11K under MSRP

Mine seems to be just fine with low end torque still barks the tires on the 1-2 shift with a stock stall.

The 403hp 6.2 in the Denali I wouldn't think needs a head swap...flows pretty darn good as it sits. The 380hp ones have pretty much the same head iirc.

The 6.2 has the gen 4 heads with the rectangle ports instead of the cathedral port heads, close to 300cfm in stock casting form. plus the additional bore size of the 6.2L give and will keep plenty of TQ:thumbsup

Valiant - ill be getting to the track early next week and get some numbers
