Looking to spend $1000 or less on long box pickup or Suburban. Must be mechanically sound and have usable bed. Prefer GM, but will look at others. 4WD preferred, but not needed. Cash in hand. Let me know what you have.

good call eric, in that case a guy at my shop is selling his 88 or 89 suburban, 2 wd, body is sound with a few dents and cancer spots, but it does have a new motor with less than 10,000 in it with an upgraded cam, keith black pistons and balanced, newely rebuilt upgraded tranny, new tires and brakes all around. Helper airbags in the back for towing or heavy loads. Not the nicest looking truck but if you need to haul and a truck your not afraid to jump in while muddy this will work perfect, I believe he is asking 1400 but im sure he will come down.

Thanks guys...

Andy,

It doesn't have to be 4x4, just looking for something that I can haul a bunch of stuff with.

Gino,

That Suburban looks super clean and nice, but a little more than I want to spend for this particular "project".

Jer,

I need something with a little more room than a Blazer, but thanks for the heads up...
