I recently tried to get the "beat the heat" program in sheboygan to open up the sheboygan falls airport for a Sunday run down the strip ol' school style. I had couple buisness owners wanting to donate buns, brats and hamburgers, a free DJ, free people to tech and help with lanes. All proceeds of people in attendance and racers plus soda and burger sales would all go to the Police Dept. To fund their race car. I called him to meet at Southside McD's 3 times and he never showed up! I told him who was all on board on the phone and he sounded really interested, I would tell him where to meet and he would agree and ditch out. I had different car club buisness owners wanting to donate, plus people that don't race wanting to donate, what else you need, damn! I had about three months of planning into it. People were even ready to put fliers down in Mil. Chi. Fondy everywhere. WADAFA! Beat the heat!
