Yoosof and I both have that TV (Blackfriday a couple years ago) and I love it.

Considering it's a westinghouse, the picture is still pretty damn good.

The Refurb part is what scares me. (and only a 90 day warr.)

sorry I didnt notice that part. I would avoid a refurb also BUT I have heard that sometimes they last longer. I am glad I got the 3 yr warranty for mine.

I LOVE my Westinghouse LCD HDTV. Had it for 2 years and haven't had one problem since!! The wife loves to leave it on too, so no bulb issues either. :thumbsup

I'm going to need a new TV for my bedroom as soon as the all digital thing kicks in. Although I have sweet hook ups at American TV so I'm sure I could find a better deal.

I needed a new tv for the bedroom so I bought one. I was not aware of the woot before today. Are they going to use my information to steal a kidney or what? Interesting way to sell stuff.

I bought alot of stuff from woot before and I still have my freedom.

I think you're OK.. :thumbsup

I really want to score this TV but I'm afraid of the 90 day warranty. I don't want to be having to ask Santa for a new TV by xmas...

I agree... I am really thinking about picking this up and giving it to my parents.

Personally having seen the Westinghouse, it gets simply crushed in terms of performance compared to high end brands (Sony DLP/LCD, Pioneer Plasmas, Panasonic Plasmas)

That is fine by me because the picture quality/sound quality wont be nearly as noticeable to my parents. However I am really worried about the quality of the TV, as Westinghouse has a very hit or miss reputation.... and buying one that is a refurb probably doesn't help your chances either. The last thing I need is a unreliable TV.

woot is sucking at shipping the tv. I understand that only paid $5 to ship it but after nine days I still don't have a valid tracking number. when does my 90 day warranty start?:goof
