Any new Import/Sport Compact shops that opened up around Milwaukee area? Heard of the rumors here and there. Just curious!!!

Anyone building anything ridiculous or buy any cool setups?

Ok I'll tell you my setup and some of my friends'/cusomters' which are ALL STREET CARS fully registered(names confidential...LOL).

MY SETUP for 2008(built it to race PRO-FWD at GLDW Import Wars for kicks..hehe..full race engine coming soon):
Basic Open-Deck sleeved B20/Vtec yielded 10.41@142mph: (real basic build with open-deck sleeves{weak sleeves}, OEM Vtec head, Xtreme ACT clutch, B16a tranny, 1600cc, Aeromotive Eliminator w/ -8 fuel lines, S300 Hondata, Beeyond Engineering Race Turbo Kit, and other simple things. Made 500+whp@25psi. This setup is officially----"SOLD SOLD SOLD"......someone wants to go fast on the streets.........................:wow:wow:wow yes it's going into a street car.:) although my car is actually a true street car fully registered and all...just that i don't drive it everyday. Yeah, the teg should be done sometime early next year not hoping for much more then a low 12.

The owner has a Chevelle for when he needs to get shit taken care of that should be out late this year or early next year.

Power to weight a starlet would be about the best bang for ya. a 240sx would be a decent idea too, but they are about 2500lbs so not the lightest rwd car out there and there hard to find for a decent price.

now remember guys not all 500+whp FWD cars/setups can hit 10sec... even RWDs too...... believe me I've seen many that claim this and that......go to the track and wooolaaa high 11-12sec........ it's harder then one thinks to get into a 500+whp especially FWD and come out with a 10sec timeslip.

Import/Sport Compact car sales----of all types especially simple upgraded ones with nice paint jobs and clean/nice looking wheels....not all riced-out. Need to talk to the Alderman and a couple high officials to get it approve ... if not i'll have to move to a grandfathered auto sales location. And the auto sales facility has to be decent big due to fabrication, dyno tuning, high performance repair, general repair, and custom muffler pipe bending that we'll still be doing.

Congrats guys, I always love hearing people going for their business ideas! That is huge!!! Also, i think with this area/market you will do quite well with those style of cars. As long as F n F movies keep coming out, what else would most 16 year old kids want is a quick, light weight car, that isnt over the top expensive and cheap on insurance!

I have my Nissan sentra that gets 36 mpg on the high way. Then theres my mazda, never did mpg in that car. Just watching the gas gauge go down is enough for me. Some times I worry that I have a leak lol. Thats not even on spray.

Yep, im at 380-390 without a tune.....should be hitting the 400hp mark rather easily after I dyno/tune her. I really dont have to worry about the internals and reliability until the 500-600hp mark.

Not to sound insulting but I really doubt you know anything about my car. Reaching the 400hp mark on the 300zx is rather easy, anything after that you will need bigger turbos. As far as the "you didint look fast" comment.....thats just funny....the Z car is a quick car stock, not the fastest but quick....doubling the stock boost, unrestricting the car from emissions, and bolt ons must look pretty damn slow! probably the gayest comment ive seen in this forum thus far. :sgay

I put in a dash ofcourse and carpet for the front but thats about it

Highway sucks. I dont know why people dont change it up again. If you read the history of it this is the 4-5 time it has changed (as in a diff spot). Highway sucks. I dont know why people dont change it up again. If you read the history of it this is the 4-5 time it has changed (as in a diff spot). won't happen. Hwy 100 is the perfect place to cruise. It's close to everything and it's straight has plenty of places to chill/hangout. People have been cruising here since the 1970's. You dont have to street race there man take it someplace else.

Cruising is illegal and you can get a ticket for it. Loitering is illegal and you can get a ticket for it. So why would you do these things when the PD is 5 blocks down the road? Hwy is about street racing not cruising. People cruise to watch the races. So if you took street racing some where else the cruisers will follow. Read up...

Let's not forget one of the big reasons why cruising was banned... rolling block parties and so forth. The car culture wasn't to blame for those bans... or at least that's not what I've been led to believe.

I would have to agree with that. Just last year there was a problem on 27th st where people would sit on the car and cruise. People where doing lawn jods and slamming there systems. Basicly having no respect for the law or the community. It got so far where it was on the news. Fing punks :punch:

Chill, and no im not 16. Yea cruising is illegal but if you're not driving retarded chances are the cops won't give you a ticket. You talk about street racing?? Our definitions are much different. Go to hwy for some casual roll runs.....big deal. Ive rarely seen real street racing/ hustling/ big money races here. Go to chicago they hustle harder than anybody up here.

i like to go up there and cruise/meet up wth people. its nice to see what other people have and what they spend there time/money on. but its the jackasses doing burnouts in parking lots, and weaving in and out of traffic that seem to ruin it for the majority of us. ive only been up there twice this summer, and both times have had a good time seeing other peoples pride and joy, and also witnessed a ton of bullshit.

Syclone: Honda/Acura gears are shortened so 9k-10k comes quick. Ball bearing turbos also assist along with superior tuning. There should be no reason why a 4cyl 10k+ rpm STREET car couldn't hit 9sec timeslips with a stock geared OEM FWD tranny. :eek::eek::eek: it will happen in WI........SOOOOOOON!!!:wow


Most of our 500-600+whp street setups peak power come in at an average of about 6500-7000rpms and yes they redline between 8.5-10K rpms. W/ correct gearing 500+whp will be put to use at all times.......9k then shift-falls to--->7K(peak powerband anyways)

most of them are bolt-on turbo kits usually from the net/ebay that don't fit correctly and require more tuning to see...... say 13 timeslips on an average. however the case, at the very least they create cool noises and that's what counts right? :thumbsup
