Porter Cable Buffer

I'm looking to borrow one of those porter cable car buffer / polishers tonight / tomorrow.

Let me know what you have or where I can find one to buy.

Are you looking for a DA buffer or a high speed polisher...???

I have a Dewalt high speed polisher that you could use. It's ready to go with the backing plate; you would just have to buy some pads.....

If not experienced with a rotary, stay away...stay far far away. I always trust a DA polisher, esp on dark colored cars. Holograms are a paint jobs worst enemy!

Its for the Mirage (white). There's just too much dirt at this point for a clay bar to get rid of. I need to hit the whole thing. Either way, I need it done before tomorrow night.

Ahh, White you would be OK. Have you used a full rotary before? If not, I still would not chance it.

Well I can pick up the junk Sears one for $40, but everyone says go with the variable speed one. I don't think there's anything in between

I agree, I taught myself on my `72 Chevelle and it had a 30 year old paint job.....:wooo For what it was and how it turned out I thought I did a pretty damn good job for a first timer.....:devil
