hopefully Steve will get to buy his name back and turn things around over there. guess they should have used a bit more tape on their body kits so they didn't fall off.

Did you check the prices on the auction link? A set of 4 19" Saleen wheels for under $150? 8 sets of leather Stang seats for $685.

Looks like some steals to be had if you knew about it and could get there. You could resell the stuff on ebay and take the rest of the year off.

Steve Saleen needs to regain the "saleen" nameplate if he or the company is going to have any success. all they really had going for them was the name and one cannot even be sure why that was. try to find a series that the guy ever won or even competed heavy, LOL!

I'm going thru the auction pages pissed I didn't see this. I woulda dropped a couple grand easily today to get in on that.

I need to stop looking at that auction now. I'm going to cry. Edelbrock Cat backs for F150, cost the winning bidder less then $45 a piece.

you would think that the people working in the shop would have pooled some money and loaded up on some of that stuff :confused

Maybe they did.

Unlike Unique Auto's auction which had a couple weeks notice. This seems like it came together so fast they probably made a 10th of what they should have. This is when it pays to have connections.

I read in mm&ff that saleen inc. was leaving detroit, and by the looks of this auction they are all done building F-150s. Most of the "office equipment" looks like it should have been put to pasture office space style years ago.

SCCA late 70's - mid 80's and I believe he won a Championship in there somewhere maybe even as a driver

Yep, $52 a wheel for 23" chrome aftermarket wheels.

That guy if he get's only $150 a wheel, which is still a steal, basically triples his money.
