I know because of the olympics china put alot of restrictions on people driving to keep the smog down. So that means they are obviously using alot less oil/gas. So that would make me think that as soon as the olympics are over the demand will go back up. does my thinking seem rational?

It's possible that it will make a difference but there are soo many other variables that factor into how the prices are set it really hard to say, only time will tell.....

Yeah they just keep making a higher price sheet then they throw a dart and where ever it lands.

I was looking at a news stations website and it said the prices of crude are coming down becuse of a waining demand. China w/ an ass load of people, and having all these restricitons right now on driving and factory productions just seems to make sense.

Those restriction were just done in Beijing. The effect they have I would guess are minor.

You can look and see around the US that mass transportation is up in cities, Used car lots are filling up with traded in SUV's, and the airline industry is cutting flights daily. All that adds up.

its just seems like the price fell faster in the last few weeks then it has in a while. I thought about all the mass transportation use and people driving alot less. Thats been going on for a while now, maybe it just took a bit for the lower demand to show.

It's not just demand that drives oil prices. The US dollar has been rebounding alot, which helps tremendously. It keeps the speculators out of the oil commodities. The mideast has been relatively quiet also.

thats also another thing. I have nothing against anyone but the ******* people around where I work have no ******* respect for anything. I brought my mustang and its got some scatches and blemshes. But I got little kids break bottles behind just running into like I said no respect for anything. I can't even bring it around anymore.

American's drove 12 billion less miles in June.
