Everything is black minus the wheels, 86000 miles everything works. No steering wheel controls, power seats, or leather. It has everything else. 20% tint, 50% on windshield, Powder coated front and rear bumpers, painted grille, tinted silverado tail lights, 6 quick release tie down points in bed good for 2000 lbs each, new LINE-X spray in bed liner

Towing mirrors will cost an additional 400 bucks, train horn system another 400. I need to get 14,900 for it.

You getting to be about as bad as Crawlin.... New Project? I thought you were going to get an HHR and keep the truck.

pOrk

I was, but why? Truck just sits in the driveway depreciating, I sold my last trailer and I'm getting out of the sport bike thing. No need for a truck this big, going to find a reg cab short box to plow with.

No toys?

I have bikes for that

Let me re-phrase, no toys with an engine... and no human legs don't count. :goof.

Bump for a sexy truck!

Edited, price too low to give anything away now

Sad to see it go, honestly I wouldn't use a 1/2 ton to plow anything worth a damn though. Unless you were talking about getting a regular cab 3/4 ton.

Good luck with the sale, if I was in the market for a truck it'd be on top of my list!

pOrk
08-10-2008, 12:02 PM
Had 182000 on the last 1/2 ton plow truck just put 3/4 ton springs and never had a problem

Price to high, or gas to high?

honestly sounds like a pretty good buy for something this clean.

But hate to say it, trucks aren't selling man. you'll be sitting on it for a while. Don't keep lowering the price just to sell it you'll find someone looking for THIS.

pOrk
08-12-2008, 12:46 AM
I lowered it because I'm taking the mirrors and horn setup off the truck, most likely will be trading the grille to a friend for his chrome one plus cash and possibly the bed as well. We'll see.

Eric I would leave it as it sits. It will sell faster that way. Its a very clean looking truck.

If you go with AutoTrader, get TruckTrader as well and the "until it sells" option. It'll cost you $100 but it's worth it. If you don't live on a busy street I highly recommend it.

Does this have the 5.3 or the 6.0?

What gears does it have in the rear?

Also what kind of gas mileage did you see with it?

pOrk
09-11-2008, 09:03 AM
6.0, 3.73's, 14 pretty consistently at the moment and drops to about 13 towing.

pOrk
10-20-2008, 08:19 PM
12,900

If you can just hang on to it until it snows. Everyone will realize there crappy little econo box sucks in the winter and gas prices are down, truck sales will pick up. Thats what Im hoping for anyways.

pOrk
10-21-2008, 09:34 AM
I've had a LOT more interest at this price, so its looking good for a quick sale. Phone has been ringing off the hook this morning, so it looks promising.

As always, everyone on craigslist is full of shit and I'm still sitting on this truck. Dealership backed out on their offer when I took it in and won't give me nearly enough, I'm losing my ass on this thing. Somebody needs a truck, and for 12,500 you won't find another this clean.

Slow Joe
10-29-2008, 03:03 PM
PM Me, I don't wanna buy it, but might be able to help you out...

Edit: Nevermind...

The only bites I've gotten on my G5 are from people "promising to sell it" for me. But, other dealerships have now lowered their prices into the same price range as mine. And to be honest, even with the extra warranty I purchased for the car, I'd probably buy from the dealership too. I'm probably going to cancel the warranty I bought for it this week and lower the price some more.

Unfortunately, GM's healthy discounts have eaten up most of the market for the few buyers out there. $21,000 for a brand new half ton and a low interest rate is pretty tempting.

Prices for used trucks had gone up in Michigan last month but now they're lower than ever. Even with gasoline being the cheapest it's been in well over a year.

pOrk
10-29-2008, 06:16 PM
F it, I'm going to eat the loss on it. Last chance for my BCM homies, Hall offered 11,500 so anything over that will seal the deal. I am not using it, I don't need to have it sit around any longer :)

Korndogg
10-29-2008, 06:55 PM
11,501

pOrk
10-29-2008, 06:56 PM
You're gay :)

Slow Joe
10-29-2008, 07:47 PM
Just remember, to actually "get" what Hall is giving you (as long as you're trading it in) you need to get about 12144 (644 = tax savings on the vehicle you're buying @ 5.6% on $11,500)

If they're just buying it from you then anything over $11,500 is more money in your pocket.

I've been trying to find someone to buy your truck. I just don't think anyone is willing to buy something with the current economic conditions... even well-to-dos. I know retail is fawkin' hurting. Have you seen the deals on big purchases? Like 40" TVs and side-load washers?

On another note, when you were hunting around where did you find the best trade-in deals? I'm seriously considering trading in my G5 for a new Silverado or Sierra 1/2 ton. The deals are incredible and with the amount of 08s sitting around I think they'll be even better when the current rebates expire (November 2nd).

$7500 on extended cabs and crew cab 2008 1/2 tons for those with the employee discount. $7000 on regular cab. :D

pOrk

Hall Chevrolet, talk to Greg Wargo and tell him Eric Fowler sent you.

Heiser Chevy has a crew cab half ton 4x4 for 22 grand, now that is CHEAP.

pOrk
10-30-2008, 01:46 PM
Best offer I have thus far is 11,500 from a private party, I'd rather sell it to the dealer if this is the case cause I don't have to deal with anybody but them, therefor I wouldn't have to worry about clearing the title or anything just drop it off and retreat.

DirtyMax
10-30-2008, 02:22 PM
It's funny seeing all these car salesman names and where they are now. I remember when Greg Wargo was at Braeger in the late 90's. It's like a big round robin.

Carry on....

pOrk
10-30-2008, 02:55 PM
They are all dealership jumpers, which doesn't make sence to me. Wargo is the Used Car Manager at Hall now, I think he has been there 2 years or so now.
