View Full Version : 2004 Hot Rod Power Tour: Green Bay/Chicago

In case anyone hasnt heard Hot Rods Power Tour 04' is going right past us, and ending in Green Bay at Lambeau field Friday June 11. It starts in Texas and works upwards to us, and into Chicago the 10th before GB.

Anyone thinking of joining in the festivities?

I am going to try to join the Tour in Iowa. There are a few of us at BCSM (http://www.brewcitystreetmachines.com) planning on doing the same. I can't wait. I have not been on the Power Tour since 1998. It will be cool to have the tour going right through M-town!

Wow that sounds like fun. Where can I get info on where they are stopping?

I did the Power Tour in '98 and am going to be getting in on this one also. For those who have not done it before, it's almost unreal seeing thousands of hot rods & muscle cars on the road at once vs. seeing the cars at a static car show.
As we went from town to town, we'd get crowds lined up on the road sides and bridges cheering us on as we blasted by in very large packs. When the '98 tour ended as we arrived in Mt Clemens, MI my T/A was the 4th car behind the Hot Rod Magazine van.
I'm sure there will be a few gas stations near Milwaukee set aside as 'official gas stops'. For those looking for good pics, thats a place to be.
