1 - Tranny went out in my Jetta - Took it to Boucher VW in Franklin, not covered under warranty, 3k out - $4000
"Your car is on a lift waiting for a new tranny"

2 - Police call - "Your car was broken into in the parking lot at Boucher" $10,000 in damage and audio equipment lost. Hmm ... They said it was on a lift?


3- Get car back from dealership, park it in my parents driveway (huge hill). Parking break snaps, car rolls back with door open and the door is ripped off by my mothers truck. $2000

But my strep throat took care of all of that. No fair, wings, RA or work.

I guess the last 2 weeks were kinda the same for me. Just bad luck. It was just starting to get hot as shit and my air conditioner went out. Then my wife gets a speeding ticket and just before all this happened my supercharger on my mustang went. So a few hundred for the air conditioner and the ticket and $850 to fix the supercharger. But the supercharger is going to have to wait.

I had a weird pain in my left eye last week.......went to the doctor, found out it was because the cornea was torn open. Rx for bottle of eyedrops the size of a thimble was $100, and when used they somehow manage to run into the back of your throat, where they taste like airplane-glue smells. Have to wear glasses for a week, which makes everything look like a Salvador Dali painting. It SUCKS.

Now, everytime I shift hard from 1st to 2nd the car has a grinding/rattling noise when accelerating normal after that. Also having a replacement transmission from a car only available in Japan, that is the teh suck.

Having a IT that filters just about every picture on the net when at work, that is teh suck.

Oh yea, and water in the basement... super suck!

Nearly broke my ankle playing softball a little over a month ago...
Not by hauling ass around the bases, not by making sportscenter web gems in the outfield, but after grounding out to shortstop.
I was trotting back to the bench, and stepped in a hole or hidden ditch or some shit... bam, done for the rest of the season.
I had also just ordered a new bat the day before. :mad:

Now I can walk normally, finally, but still have to be very cautious using stairs.
Still can't run, hurts to jog.

Just because there is a sign there, doesn't mean you don't have legal recourse. Look at what just happened with the cell phone industry. Every cell phone company has a contract, that YOU SIGN, stating that they will charge you for early termination. A federal judge just declared that is illegal for the cell phone company to do that, even though you have a signed contract.

I would pursue that for sure. Did you have insurance for all the stuff in your car? I learned the hard way about that a few years ago. Insurance company said we don't cover aftermarket equipment unless you notified us about it. I lost about $4500 worth of stuff. :flipoff2:
