Tranny shops around my area wont touch them! Went to six tranny shops and the all ran away from it like it was the devil.:devil If anybody that knows a shop or does it on the side let me know. Or how much usually get 4 a rebuild, If all gears and shiftforks are good. Wanna make sure everythings perfect to stuff it in monte and dont wanna pull the drivetrain again for the second time this year. Thanx:thumbsup

I hope I get someone because the guy who did my trannys quit at the shop because he didn't have a degree so he got paid less. Plus he got married and moved. So he's AWOL. The kid fresh outa UTI that took his job just ran away from me. :fire

Yeah i can work on it...

Provided all is OK, it should just need a synchro kit from this company ahead of time. I can turn it around in a day.

Do it right, get it upgraded to the Viper Spec. Viper Spec built t56 = Sex on the beach!

I doubt his mentioned setup would need that.

True, but if your going to do it why not spend a couple extra $$$ why not? Hate to have to pull it twice.

Those viper upgrade parts are big $$$ and isnt better than aftermarket parts out for them.

My damn near 100% stock internaled T56 has held up to 750+ ft/lbs like a porn star thus far.

A shimmed up stocker with decent minor upgrades will last a long while.

Everything looks alrite, the tailshafts off. Would like to check twice and cut once with this car. Had a BBC in it and that dropped a clyinder after 30 miles, after paint. My HP guestimate be around 430NA, tourqe around there 2, wit my parts layn around garage. If anybody needs basically new BBC headers 4 a G body lemme know, I cant post yet.
