Does anyone know where someone might be hiring for Marine Mechanic/ Apprentice? Or how to become one?
I'm looking for a career change and I'm really intrested in boats, since I'm always working on my Dads boat I figure I'd do it as a career.
Thanks!

josh i would look into going to school at MMI and after you're done with their schooling, they hook you up with a job. i am looking into that profession also.

When I go back to work after vacation I'll call my buddy Ed at Milwaukee boat line and ask him for you.

I'd like to have a job in the boat mechanic industry and go to school at the same time for it. Just for security.

I agree, go to MMI and actually learn somthing. Alot of the local marine dealers have HACKS for mechanics. Ive gone my rounds with a couple of them.
