I just bought a PS2 a few weeks ago and am looking for some idea of what games to get, already I have.....

Hitman 2 - Badass game....already beat it.

Rising Sun - Cool as hell.....already beat it.

The Great Escape - Pretty decent, but am close to beating it.

Getaway - This game is gay! I couldn't stand to play it long enough to beat it. The control functions suck and the game is light on action. The weapons suck.....just a bad game. I tried to return it for Rising Sun, but they wouldn't let me. I think the maker of this game owes me a refund and a written apology!

Anyone got another ideas for more games? I heard True Crimes was pretty sweet.

True Crimes and Max Payne 2. The new SoCom is supposed to be pretty good too.

I thought True Crime was ghey... I played brown shirt's....its Max Payne and Vice City in one. You steal cars and shoot people and try and dodge cops.....lame. I heard SoCom 2 rocks. Splinter Cell rocks.....get a few sports games dude. I hate soccer but FIFA 2004 (soccer) rules. Super fun to play, tons of teams worldwide.....very cool multiplayer. Madden 2004 rocks. Got to play the new Tiger Woods 2004, it SERIOUSLY RULES ALL. Awesome game. I am picking that up once I get paid. 4-player tournies, skins, etc.....super fun.

Max payne 2 looked pretty good, so did GT3 and SoCom 2.

Wurd!....board nazi! I looked online and found Max Payne 2 for $43.00. I'm going to order that up right now. I checked out SoCom2, it looks pretty sweet too.

I kind of liked True Crimes. The only thing is that I thought the missions were to easy and the bosses were ok. I beat most of the game I only had one more mission to play before I took it back to the Video store. I dont think it is worth spending money on to own.

Another decent car game that I played the crap out of is----Need for Speed:Hot Pursuit. Borrowed it to my cousin and now he is addicted to it.:3gears:

I seen that girl posted on another site. I was informed that she is a singer in france so all we know she could be singing alaweta (SP?)

Need for Speed: Underground rocks too...super addicting. Very arcade style but very fun for sure:banana

I have to agree with J there. Really fun, even for a novice like me. Bling factor is very high!

Check the Sunday paper for PS2. Or give Game Stop a call. They might have some used systems for less.

I think anywhere you go it's going to be $179.99....not to many people are selling PS2s because it's the newest system.

ive seen them around 150 at gamestop before.

XBOX owns PS2 though.

i bought true crime and beat it....all 3 endings. and all alternate missions. still have a few lil upgrades to get until im at 100% completion. i think its a lot of fun.

NFS underground...bought that too...it rules. i have a Skyline with most of the upgrades at about 88 / 111 races.
