Not saying best ACTOR, just saying best "car guy in a movie"

cause Milner's character wasn't anything oscar worthy either :)

not a bad movie really at all, not your typical "racer" kinda movie, but still is, even if roundy round.

It was known as the Dodge M4S turbo interceptor made in conj with PPG to be a pace car. After reading about it some in the past, apparently it was a 440hp twin turbo 2.2L

LOL read this after work. Gotta say you all have good points, Like the Hasselhoff one the best. LOL. Gota say mine is Milner though, classic burger stand guy, does his own wrenching, works at a ma and pa gas station, the go to guy for stuff in town. And has the fastest car in the valley? Dude was living the dream back then. I saw him on a SPEED at a goodguys show and he sounded salty:chair: because everybody remembers him 4 that movie. Hell if it was me I'd be like yea that was me! Wanna know what tire pressure I ran at? ...Sure no problem!:thumbsup

yup, dirty mary was a 69 and the ending sucked! What a waste of a nice car...ok, vanishing point too...oh yeah and bullitt...

come to think of it, most of the cool movies end up with the car being destroyed!!

play vanishing ponit slow at the end...they take the challenger(the good car) and replacing it.... end up smashing up a camaro....:thumbsup

the Challenger lives on to play another day...while the camaro dies

If you dont know who he is gotta watch American Graffiti. Like 2 lane blacktop for the hustle but the ending is freeking weird, ah well the drug era explains that whole movie. Smokey and the bandit was a great movie, I rememba seeing vanishing point when I was a kid, so musta made a impact on me somehow.:confused

HITMAN

Harrison Ford, driver of two of the coolest Hot Rods ever.

Bob Falfa, driver the '55 Chevy in American Graffiti
Han Solo, driver of the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars

2 Lane Blacktop sucks balls. I wasted hours of my life watching that movie twice, thinking it would be cooler the 2nd time.

Another one that should be mentioned is Memphis Raines. He's probably my #2 favorite "Leading Car Guy".

I vote H.B. Halicki from the original Gone in 60 Seconds.. He did all of his own stunts and had some cool cars

I'm a big fan of HB Halicki and Cage in the remake...Memphis Raines is where I get my screen name.:)
To bad HB killed himself filming the second gone in 60 seconds. The original Mach one is still around just like it finished the film...all beat to hell. I think its in a museum his widow runs or owns. They actually have a dvd with the filmed portions of gone in 60 part two and also the junkman, another of his car crash films.

I have that DVD. They remastered the original Gone in 60 Seconds with and into of his widow end the 1973 Mach(what's left of it) and bonus with that car still kicking ass and tearing around.
