Finally got my hood. and brothers new bike

well it only took a month and i got my hood..
just a ws6 style ram air. sorry for the crappy pics its been raining out and i just put it on about an hour and a half ago...

these first three are of the hood.
the guy i purshased it from went out and bought all the lumber to build a crate to ship it in... you can see that in one of the pics.

anyway on with the bike its a brand new 2008 ZX6R i like the color and it rides really nice. my brother was nice enough to let me ride it home from the dealer... as he does not have his permit yet and i have my class M license...

PLEASE..... Do not tell me that this is his FIRST bike. Good choice, dont get me wrong. But way to nice for somthing that will most likely end up in the junk yard. I hope he is carefull and well insured. As far as the statistics go though, the odds are against this thing looking nice and shiny very long.

Yup the girlfriend and i rent a condo on the corner of mariner and sunnyslope.

yes it is his very first bike.. i had a 2001 zx6r that he rode one time about 3 years ago and that is the only time he has ever been on a bike... he went out for about 2 hours last nite and did fine but is taking it slow till he gets used to the way it handls and such...
and to think he went to the dealer wanting a zx10r but opted for the 6.

eventually i want to get new wheels but not for at least a year.. im pretty much done with the car except for under hood bling stuff and the new wheels one day.. but im saveing for a house. hopefully by spring next year i will have one then i will start putting more $$ into the car...

just powdercoat your wheels you have now. My buddy was looking at wheels but just decieded to powdercoat because he didn't have alot of money at the time. Came out great and he only paid like 200 bucks. I would say gunmetal would look sweet on your car. Or you could go with the black on black look.
