Used engine hook-up?

Anyone got a line on a decent used and RUNNING mopar 318 or 360? Just looking for a stopgap engine...too much blow-by on the old 318 in the coronet right now...and too lazy and broke (wedding) to get all the stuff to do a 440 swap right now (new rad/trans/headers/distributer needed at a minimum).

Scrap yards, etc...just looking for a cheap long block that has FAR less than the 180+ thousand miles the tired 'teen's got.

4440 IS built (although I want new heads and a roller cam too)...just want something that doesn't fog the hwy when I'm on it for more than 4 seconds, lol.

too time consuming...want to just do a one day turnaround. I could possibly do a pull-hone-ring/bearing job in one day...but then I'd still have crappy heads/180,000 mile heads. The thing is, at least with an 60-80,000 mile engine, I'd have an okay 60-80 thousand mile VJ that meshes with the low-end perfectly...or at least better than the 180 thou valve-job would, lol.

Used to have decent small block heads sitting around....alas, got rid of it when I sold the valiant :(

If your interested in going magnum ive got a buddy with a 360 laying around but I don't know if he's interested in selling it. He got to "put" into his truck. I put that in quotes because both he and I know it's never gunna get put into his truck.

That's a very interesting prop...could you find out what he'd let it go for? I know I'd need to invest in a few things to make it work, so I'd need to include that in the price...

I wish I had the 34,000 mi '68 318 outta my (also very similar, but white) Coronet to give ya. When I pull it for RB power I will let you know...At least I would know at least someone might want it...
