I have heard that most junk yards will pay good money for catalytic converters welll my stock h pipe is off my stang and has 4 cats and i have 2 new universal cats I'd like to recycle if this is try anybody got good money for them or recomend somewhere to call thanks Eric

i've heard of people buying them also for the paltinum in them.

thats why they bring good money sometimes i emailed the buyers off craigslist so we will see

I sold one of those huge early 90's bmw cats for $200 + $40 shipping on ebay. Scrappers want them for the platinum.

a place in hartford told me only the european ones bring that kind of money they are offering me 25.00 a piece for them seems to be the best offer so far

$25 a piece for stock mustang cats is a great price. The larger cats from pickup trucks can bring $50-$75 may be higher now. There's some other precious metals in cats, I can't remember exactly, but it's not just the platinum.

This is rather funny to read this post.

I posted an extra cat on craigslist from my civic and I have been getting a ton of emails and offers. I am guessing they want it to just recycle it.
