If he takes the deal I will lose a lot of respect for him. I really hope this is about him truly wanting to play and not just about wanting money.

I hear ya, Luke..... I, too, hope its about him just wanting to play. $20 million is just a drop in the bucket for him anyways.

But WTF... $20 Million?
It's free money.

Think of all the kids in Africa that you could sponsor for $20 million. :thumbsup

Well it wasnt about the money before. But now that they are throwing it at him hes going to think about it. We all know he will do what best. I think they should make Bret the starter for one last year.

I like him, but If you went to your job and said I quit, then 3 weeks later you go back and say I would like my job back. What would the outcome be? Its not Thompson. You quit you quit. If you were Rogers I think you would be pissed.:chair:

For as much as I love Brett Favre and think he's an awesome quarterback, he needs to retire and stop going back and forth. Its getting old. Besides, if they're offering him $20 Mil to not play, take it! I certainly wish my boss would offer me that money to never come back to work!!

Kinda reminds me of Jordan, just with a lot less honor.

Maybe the car will get into an accident. I dont want to see the guy dead, but maybe just a nice injury to his throwing arm.

Nope, they cut away from the Family Night coverage and showed him driving through Green Bay until he pulled into his garage at his house (or what I'm guessing is his house)

Deanna was at the game, but I didn't see Brett. I would bet he was at the stadium somewhere though.
