Looking to buy a GOOD bed, and have always wondered about the Sleep Number bed. Anyone using one, or can recommend a different high quality mattress? Thanks-Dan

My physical therapist got a sleep number and had it for six months and then got rid of it. Said it sucked. Don't know any more details other than that.

I can't stand the lady that does those commercials. I wouldn't buy one just because of her. :durr

You guys talking about the full memory foam matress, not just a 3" topper?

correct the full magilla, they are nice. I'm a shade over 300# and I laid on it on my sides and back and it didn't get uncomfortable like my spring matress

IMO Sleep number is more hype than anything.

After sleeping on the top mattress for like 20 years (shit was like sheetrock)... the one below it felt like I was sleeping on air :]

We got a sleep number.... and we like it.
The best part about it is that my wife likes her side very very soft and
I like a firmer mattress,
so this way we can both have what we want...
