Just got it home from MN last night, so it hasn't been cleaned up or even unloaded yet.

Its a K3500 (1 ton 4x4) with the L29 Vortec 454 engine, 4L80e Trans. I bought it from the original owner who ordered it loaded with the HD trailering package, snow plow prep package, power windows / locks / mirrors.

Came with an 8' Western Unimount Plow and a second set of wheels/tires.

The Cap is for sale if anyone knows someone looking for one for an 8' Chevy box.

Nice truck...loved the simpler lines of that gen. The upgraded vortech 454's are sharp too...they don't feel nearly as lazy as the non-vortech ones of 95 and earlier.

Considering this one has 215k on it its not to shabby. On the way home with it loaded down as you see in the pics I raced my friend who was driving my Zr5, off the line he had me a little, but around 60 when I hit 3 gear I was pulling away pretty fast. Doing 75-80 all the way home with the windows open it got 14 mpg. Not bad considering :goof

In the next week or two I will be changing all the fluids out with syntetic, new plugs, wires, maybe a new timing chain if it seems loose when I check it, K&N Filter Charger. Then Getting HP tuners and turning off all the Torque Management crap and maybe playing with the tune.

Nice truck, take it you got a steal? I would stay away from the K&N. To many horror stories of ones right out the box saturating the MAF and other sensors.

is that someone related to this truck or K&N in general??? Because I've had nothing but K&N on all of my cars and I've never had a problem with any.

K&N in general. Just search it on ls1tech. I've had K&Ns on a few of mine and after ditching it on my t/a there was no performance difference.

Yeah, because of the miles I got it for about half of what most others with only 100k were going at. And this one came with alot more than any other truck that I called about.

I had a K&N on my last truck and on my Camaro without any issues. The only time Ive ever heard of people having problems with them is when the filter is connected directly to the MAF.
