They announced it as the First one they've seen at the track...

First run:
Looked liked he ran with the traction control on...it jumped then bogged down, lol. Looked like it stuttered the first 20-30 ft or so then came alive...

13.99 @ 101 mph.

Not bad considering the guy's cluelessness.

Pulls up for a second run figuring someones HAD to have talked to him about how to drive it/etc...he did line up better etc.

Well, he must have talked to the wrong people, lol. Clearly he was foot braking (activates torque reduction via timing pull)...the car looked like traction control was on for a second (tire spun hard/abruptly stopped) but then, half-second later spun hard again for 30 ft down the track. Time? even worse:

14.7 @ 102mph....

...this guy was clueless.

But great looking car none-the-less.

Several other Magnum and 300 SRT's were all running 13.1's @ 107...a few in the 12's with drag radials.

Once the guy learns how to drive it, it will be faster. I took my dads regular R/T hemi Magnum there and ran it a few times. It ran a 14.3 with the traction control on, and a 14.11 with the traction control off. He has a K&N filtercharger, (not the drop in, the full unit,) and Corsa performance exhaust. The challenger has like 100 more hp, if not more, it should be much faster than that. Obviously this guy didn't know what he was doing, if he keeps going, it will be faster...

Me? No i took my dads car there last year in the fall. My friend has is 93 Mustang GT there, and I took my dads car. He needed new tires and he wanted to see what it would do before he replaced them. There is now a class action lawsuit in progress involving the crappy stock tires the R/T cars came with. On average, the daily driver got under 15,000 miles on the stock tires. My dad got 13,000 and he drives like a grandma.

Streetires dont do a car justice. Throw some drag radials on it and he would be cooking with gas. They are nice looking car though. Wait a 2 years and problably have a T56....Hell yea!:headbang

They put out 425hp bone stock. Thats pretty stout for a warrantied car. Can't wait til next year when they have the 6speed with the old skool pistol grip shifter option.
