I need a pulley ground down 4.12 MM for my 8 rib conversion. Anyone know of any that can get the job done today.

What part of the pulley would have to be "ground down". Monday at the earliest here....

the shaft on the back side needs to be taken down 4.12 MM on the back side of the 8 rib pulley to match the 6 rib

So the area where the shaft or bolt goes through needs to be shortened 0.1622 inches? Pulley aluminum? Monday at the earliest, but I can get this done for you.

yeah thats the part that I need to shorten. Not sure what it's made of. Unless I can find something earlier then Monday it is. Skeeter is out of town all next week and I'd like to get it done before then.

that little bit and you can't just sand it down by hand? or even useing a palm sander?

I was told that taking a belt sander or something to it would not be a good idea since it really needs to be perfect.

For that you are going to want to machine it, and any other 'method' would cause you more issues than the one you have now.....

If for some reason tony can't I can Chris. Have access to a lathe and it shouldn't be hard to face that little bit off for you

I'm 7/8 hillbilly. I'd key it up in a drillpress or my wood lathe.

they dont make specific kits for my car, there was alot of r&d done to make it work with my setup with the pulley manufacturer. I'm not sure whey chris is having a issue tho other then he has a aftercooled version and maybe the reg. pullies from the manuf. are not fitting right

Im 50% Hillbilly and 50% White Trash.....

Honestly doesnt matter how true the rear machined surface is
as the square cut shaft and bore center of the pulley dictate
the belt tracking, cut/grind/polish 4.120 mm and be done with it.
