Man why would you ditch the corporate LN2 for that boat anchor of an engine :wtf :confused .

Those things i can actually own on a roll on in newer grand am GT's if that says anything for the credibility of this 60 degree sixer.

I personally think an L67 would have a been worth while swap instead of going in the oppostire direction from the pushrod 2.2

But then again from the looks of the car its a Ricer Boi's so i dont think anything of it.


There is SOOOO many better engine swaps that could have been done here, ranging from a coporate LD9 Quad 4 or even W41 Quad 4 H.O. that mantapart racing still has in stock. Maybe a turbo 2.0 from a sunbird or of they wanted a 6 that bad use a blown L67 or a turbo 3.1 from the 90' TGP's

I also seen one of those guys put a 3800s/c in a 2002 cavy. True a lot more weight but this gives the car a thing it didn't have b4 torque!!!

A W41 Quad4 would have wooped the aids out of this thing, a Cutlass Calais or grand am GT with the H.O. Quad 4 would have made this thing its biatch LOL

Now yer talkin. I miss my little Calais Q4/5speed I would have loved the W41. Someday I'll have another, was a fun little car had 208,000 on it when I got rid of it. Everytime I see a Q4 Calais for sale it has an auto... what fun is that?? :D

Well for some damm purpose i don't know what but some people wanna waste cash like that!!!Don't get me wrong i see no prob with adding a few lil mod's to your everyday driver but this car is out of hand as far as a mod IMO!!! if your going to go through all that... an L67 swap would be worth all the work IMO.

I believe the L67 swap requires that a custom crossmember be made and the radiator to be move. That is quite the project itself. For the LN2 he only had to move the mounts around a little bit. Still not really worth the $$ in my opinion. With all of the stuff out for the 2.3/2.4/2.2eco's..... he could have had a quicker car with less $.

I guess he just wants to be different.:confused

I say props to the dude that did it, its his toy. I have no problem with Cavaliers, and I can guarantee if I didnt have my Monte, my 2001 Z24 would be fast one way or another! :3gears:
