Those of you with rides older than lets say 87.....do you wanna meet up somewhere? We could meet at a park and grill some burgers and brats and check out rides and talk bull.....

OR, hit a restaurant or similar for a burger.

anyone up for this? :D

whitnall park seems rather appropraite for the old school theme.

jbiscuit
07-25-2008, 08:22 AM
agreed! There is an awesome building with picnic tables, bathrooms etc and a nice parking lot that Jeni and I found in Whitnall Park. I'll see if I can find it on a map and post it here.

I think its the "8" on this map. There are a bunch of huge posts lining the parking lot area. There is a playground off to the side and a soccer field too

Its starting to sound like a dare.......

All I know is I'd most likely use less gas going from Hartford and back than Ron would use just to start his Race......opps, street car.

Crawlin

i thought it was whitnall park and you were bringing the johnsonville brats?

jbiscuit
08-06-2008, 08:44 AM
originally that was the plan Ron but I just think it'll be easier to show up somewhere and people can eat whatever they want. Cuz otherwise we need to bring a grill, charcoal, food etc etc....Not sure how many will show up so this way we aren't counting on someone to bring brats or charcoal etc and have them not show

Good times...I lost everyone else. Andy and I hit the cloverleaf entrance at 94...then got back to hwy 100 to look for everyone but didn't catch up :(

Oh well, I think Andy was pleasantly surprised how the big boat turned, lol...we were breaking the back end out ever so slightly (you could feel the car rotating, lol).

Good times...Loved meeting Jim Fuchs too, great f40 he had.
