I recently rented this movie and I was blown away! Considering the 40 min chase scene and over 200 cars were wrecked as well as not a hint of computer generated stunts- ALL ARE REAL. It's like the Dukes of Hazard on steroids. It also had the early 70s big hair the obligatory polyester clothing and a twangy guitar background music.

I reccomend that everyone here rents or buys it.

BTW- don't watch it if you want to see all of those sweet 60's cars get trashed

One more thing- the original "Elanor" was a 73 Mach 1

Great movie!! If you watch closely when they are comming off the highway they start comming ver very close to a telaphone pole, but they cut to the next scene right away. They hit that telephone pole on accident and waisted a car.

I saw the original Way before the remake came out. I liked the remake, but there is not a movie out there that has a high speed chase that can beat the one in the original moive! Yeh the movie itself was cheesy, but what do you expect they spent all the money on the 40 Min. Chase scene.

I think so too, but it by no means gets away in the end...
