Need someone to trailer a car

I'm looking at a FWD car in Mchenry, IL which is about 45 minutes southwest from my house in Racine.

It will need to be towed back on a dolly, not necessarily a trailer.

First off, I would be able to rent a dolly for $40 at Uhaul if you do not have a dolly. I would need to borrow a truck, I can fill it with gas, etc, or have someone come with to pickup this car.

It is not that bad! Probably can avoid all the tolls and shoot west around Gurnee for about a half hour.

illinois tolls are rediculous trailering a car. did it one time and it was ten bucks for one toll. probably 40 bucks total with a trailer. I HATE ILLINOIS WITH A PASSION

Every time I go down to IL now I stay off the tollway because I lack an Ipass. The thing that pisses me off is the toll system *barely* pays for itself... much less any roadwork.

I can get this done. the only main toll to worry about is the gurnee toll, but there are quick side roads to take around that. I have a truck and trailer.

I'd offer my help but it sounds like you have a few takers, and to add to the illinois conversation I would honestly not complain if I woke up and that state was wiped off the face of the earth. i would be happy to drive to the border and just see a giant crater. To hell with the toll system, I went through illinois to ohio with a 2 axle trailer, and my god they bone you hard, i think round trip i was up over $60 in tolls alone

wheel bearings may be pooped. I'm gonna try to retorque them tonight and see if that works.

Just contacted the seller via phone finally, he confirmed a 9pm pickup time tonight.

Nothing available via uhaul as far as a dolly.

Update:

I have a lead on a tow dolly in Kenosha. I need to pick it up the dolly by 4pm tonight. At this point all I need is someone with a truck!
