This was done on Corvette forum. Let's see how many people on here are not from Milwaukee. Name the city you where born and raised in and it's claim to fame. I was born here in Milwaukee and we all know our many reasons for fame, Beer, Harley, Dahlmer, etc.

Was born in Milwaukee and slowly migrated to St. Francis where I was living for most of my life. I ended up in franklin though towards the end and now I live back in Milwaukee.

shit Cudahy's got that beat. I guess they are in the guiness book of world records for the most bars in a so many mile radius. I think there is 11-15 bars in a spand of 6-8 blocks.

Jaksonville FL, the largest city (in terms of land area) in the United States. Almost every square mile of county is also considered the city. 3rd largest military presence with three large bases. Home of the best bbq imho.

Delafield - Nice small town turned into yuppie fest by 1 guy (lang) who lived in Oconomowoc the entire time. Now you better have $500 in your pocket just to drive through that town on a weekend, otherwise you get that "who is this homless guy" stare.

Crazy, one of my really good friends is from Owosso.

Who? My Dad's family has been there since the 1850s. My Mom's family is from Saginaw but my Mom grew up in Corunna. My cousin went through Corunna schools. I know quite a few people from the area but I haven't lived there since 2000.

That's where I grew up to, I was going to post:

Delafield, our claim to fame was the whole town was purchased by a single person, who then turned it into his own personal franchise store:rolf

Born in Port Washington, raised in Saukville, live in Port. Port has Fish Day, Saukville has not much. Both are decent places to grow up, pretty safe to raise kids as well. Port has had Reagan and Bush jr. visit, not sure if that's cool or not but something of note.
