Im looking to pick up a new daily driver and been looking at the CTS

what do you guys think about them?

I really want a V, for the performance factor ( who doesnt ) but I dont know if I want to swing 25k right now

is there anything wrong with the regular CTS ( 2004-2005 )

thanks in advance

get the v and hope the rear end blows out before warranty is up unless they fixed that problem.

Buddy just got 2007 with the 3.6. Great looking car, decently quick, handles real solid...don't know of any outstanding reliability issues. He got a pretty good deal on it too...

its basically a gto with a caddy body so there can't be to much wrong with them right? most i've heard was the axles breaking at the track and diffs getting messed up. They have a section for the cts v's on ls1 tech jog over there and take a look

completely different cars. but same idea, ls2/m12 and an independent rear

Isn't that the V's are virtually shearing the differential from the bracket that holds them?

I just finished a 04 ctsv, made 480.9 rwhp on 8psi with a magnacharger, lt headers, xpipe, exh, and full fuel system. he has gone through 2 differentials so far. we came up with a rear end cradle to support the whole rear carrier for the time being, but we are on the way of putting an IRS8.8 from an 04 cobra in the back and modifying the rear suspension for the wheelhop issues that the car faces. the driveshaft is a big problem as well, its a 2 piece design that is rubber mounted to the output shaft of the trans, and has a cv joint where it attaches to the diff. this will all be corrected in the new build. But if you want to put any real power down, its what is required. these cars break diffs bone stock, never mind with any mods.

Tired of driving your Z06 with the powdercoated wheels that your dad gave you?
:stare
Still paying for insurance with cash under the table?
:wooo
How about that 600 hp Evo that you have?
:rolf
Maybe you should buy a QWKGTP?
:headbang
Still selling that yacht that you got from Spreewell?
:durr
Every couple of months you come on here and start a thread of lies, and people still fall for it and give you advice.

Been looking at the new Bombardier LearJets as well.
Can someone edumacate me on the major differences between the 40 XR and the 45 XR?

They both do Mach .81, so that is not an issue, and weigh about the same at 21k lbs.
Besides being able to carry 9 passengers over 7, why the $2 million price difference?
I was also looking at a Challenger 605, but don't really like the older, flat-winged style.

The Global 5000 is out of my price range a bit at $33 million, and I won't buy used...not again...
