Just use some nice adjustable wrenches !!!

AN wrenches are to dam expensive !!!

you chould use a adjustable wrench, but i like to put a rag between the nut surface and the wrench so it doesnt bugger up the fitting if that is all thats avaiable.

Are you assembling hoses? You can do like cutlass said, but you will still mar the anodized fittings even with the rag.

i just use a crowsfoot to get as much even pressure. but damnit its only looks. id rather have something tight than worry about scratches.

I would really like to keep it looking good atleast.

if someone dosnt' trust me since they are expensive thats cool, just help me put the fuel system in and they won't have to leave their sight.

crowsfeet work great. if anything they take off a bit of color on the corners thats all.

I'll let you use mine, plus the soft aluminum vice inserts. Note that if you're building hoses and connectors, that one side of the AN's don't always match up to the wrenches. How long would you need them for?

use the box end of the wrench as much as possible and you won't damage them much, AN wrenches are a waste of money IMHO, i just use the wrench that fits the best and i just be careful with them and they don't damage them

even with the AN wrenches you still have to be REAL careful (and you're still going to take a tiny bit of the finish off).

I'm guessing only for a day.. We live next door to each other and I can only guess I will be forced to work on the project with him..

most of mine are natural finish, but the ones that are anodized, i used blue painters paint and had good luck. i have a 6AN wrench and the vise inserts for hose assembly. you can use open end box wrenches...but i cant remember what standard sizes are the equivalent to the AN sizes.
