BTW: For all of those Bush haters, as much as he's done some thing wrong.....this might of been the start to poping this bubble. +!

And AirGuitar- Looks like the stocks are rebounding pretty well today, so we'll be happy again :thumbsup

maybe, the stock Index's are having a good day and they will help keep the Oil down. I really wish i would of boughten GM @ $10/share. I would have gas paid for the year with the gain to $11.50/share

We need to get the value of the dollar up over seas, then price of oil will come down.

Watch out for the increasing CPI, highest increase since 1956. That is really bad also.

It's all about timing.

He could have probably done this shit years ago but there's an election coming up soon and he has to help his partisan mates look good....

That combined with the fact that he and his pals have a heavily vested interest in the performance and profitability of the oil industry probably made this happen later then it could have....

Who knows though... I don't give two crapolas about politics really but it seems like it has the potential to add up....

The price per barrel took a tumble another $4...it had a slight rebound when it was announced that some off-shore drilling would be going off-line due to Hurricane Dolly (no refineries are effected as of now though). Price per barrel went as high as 147 a little over a week ago is now down to 126/barrel.

Two things were proven by that:
1. The amount of supplies, or perceived future supplies does effect the price, hence the slight rebound -and-
2. That the market is still overbid.

Market is down again today, our price is $3.95/gal (and in the start our market is the highest, just how it is) So hopefully we'll be down big again. I just filled up the wh0reolla $42 from almost completely empty (ran on Low fuel light for awhile lol)

I read an article today about how, although the price per barrell seems to be on a continuous downward trend despite the few spikes, refineries will likely not pass on as much of the savings as we would expect.

Of course, cheaper gas is cheaper gas. It's just unforunate that someone is going to take even more advantage of the entire situation.

Diesel prices will remain unyielding...it's price would likely stay as high even at $40/barrel prices due to the new diesel requirements...while the same amount of diesel comes from each barrel, the new "cleaner" (tier whateva) diesels take longer to refine as the process refines/"scrubs" it greater than the old requirements...so in effect, it diminishes the refining capacity nationwide by 10-15% for diesel, creating a shortage relative to the demand, and thus high-ass prices.

Plan on diesel being more expensive than gas for another 5-7 years minimum.

Remove the DPF and run Off Road Diesel, this is my plan at the moment. I can fill up with offroad diesel about a block away and no one there cares.....

Its cheaper and is just "low sulpher" vs "ultra low sulpher"
