I was at Gingerman this weekend running with an SVT group and I lapped a C6 Vette and passed a GT500 on the track.

Just had to post it!

Nice Job Michelle!
you are a natural Born Race car driver!
you must be my real daughter. My daughter can't drive forward, much less try to back up a car! good grief!

Oh I can't back up either. That's why I can never be single - I need someone to do that whole backing up thing, especially with a trailer. I don't even bother to try anymore.

No I am usually there a few times a year, but I had an instructor with me that made me use the entire track, which made my laps much smoother and I figured out a much better way to go around turn 2.

No, clearly it's one hell of a track car.

I guess that's cool if you're into that kind of thing.

of course its cool. roadracing is a blast. As soon as you think you have it mastered you buy a new car or go to a new track and your a newbie all over again. Learning a new track or discovering a faster line through a corner is worth all the time and money spent. Congrads Michelle. :headbang
