Actually with the insurance reduction its cheaper per month then my STi was.
Also with the 300hp twin turbo its ALMOST as fast as the STi was stock.

Very nice!

so you got rid of the STi for this?

Whats your thoughts on the new Twin Turbo motor bmw is using?

Yup got rid of it because I was sick of the cheap interior, harsh ride, rattles on a 12k car that were getting worse. I am very happy and consider it a nice upgrade.
The TT motor has unbelievable torque. The STi was slightly faster stock and alot faster modded. I will most likely end up tuning the 135i and making it at least as fast as the STi was. The interior/ride are leaps and bounds above that of the sti. The brakes are much better also. This car continues to suprise me and I do not miss the sti at all yet.
Very nice!

DAMN nice car. 13's stock. I was considering one of those but went with my Spec B instead for the AWD and 4 doors.

GRREAT car though you have there. Enjoy it!

Thats why I originally went with the sti. Just didnt really need the awd as a summer car and I could never really get over the interior/boy racer looks of the STi. The Spec B is great though, more refined and with some mods can really get down!

They are also cheaper than an STI are they not? When I did an article on them for my company's paper (this was before they were released mind you), BMW was stating they wanted it to be in the low 30's????

No they are not cheaper then the sti. They start at about 36,000 for a base 135i most go for around 40k with any options added.
