New Member saying Hello

I was referred by loud91rs to join BrewCityMuscle, so thought I would finally get around to making a profile. I have a 1993 Mazda Rx7 R1 vintage red with a couple mods, most listed in the garage section if I did everything right. I am frequent member to Rx7club.com and Rotarycarclub.com. Hoping to meet some people in the area to cruise with and gain any valuable information people have to offer. Thanks for your time guys. Nice looking car. Nice to see an RX7 that still has the rotary in it!!! They get such bad reps, but hey, even when they DO go bad, it's nice to know that all's you need it 2 people to pull the motor. Who needs an engine hoist when the whole motor is about the size of a 1/4 barrel! Neat cars, got VERY used to them back in the day as one of my best buddies in HS drove one. You can learn to appreciate that motor very quickly if you ever have to tear it apart and work on it, it's a very "neat" design. If you ever want to do RA, get ahold of John (HeatSeekerWS6) and he can get you all the info for when most of us BCMers are up there (that would be for the midwest F body association, but all makes and models are welcome)!!

To answer nismodave; Blackhawk is the first track I have been to. I just got the car two summers ago and have been slowly building it up to be trackable. I want to attend another school at Road America in September but I have to replace all my bushings as they are all original and pretty worn out. With the costs of Graduate School, and what not its hard to find money for the 7 sometimes :(.

Hopefully I will see some of you guys down at highway sometime, when I get the guts to drive down there. If anyone was at the little show at Uno in the Falls today or at the show around 3-4ish at St. Dominics I was there for a bit.
