I would consider it, but I am still running a "loaner" trans while G-Force is sorting mine out for me...

Well it was that or look at my car on jackstands in the garage for a month right in the middle of summer while UGR/G Force warranty rebuilds my trans... So, I had a loaner trans sent up lol.

Good way to test it out for them.

Do you have to pay for it if you break it? I mean they know what your car is capable of, there is no reason they should have sent you a trans that cant take it.

UGR is going to try to talk G Force into covering it, otherwise UGR said they would cover it. Which, to me is ULTRA COOL since as most of you may have experienced typically no matter how much it costs or how well built it is there typically is no warranty on race parts, motors, etc. Since I ran it in NC with UGR there they are pretty sure I raced it lol.

On the other hand, I agree with ya - I sure payed enough for the trans and it is supposed to be able to stand up. It was pretty notchy and noisy from the get-go, I only ran a few passes, and it only got worse once I put only around 100 street miles on it so I am pretty sure it wasn't totally right to begin with so I damn sure expect them to cover it.

My car already had one in it when I bought it since it was an ex-Hennessey car, but it was just the basic build so I sprung for a fresh rebuild and the triple cone synchros and shaft upgrade stuff GFT56TC2 - around $2000 or so I think the total was between the $1300 for that and I think around $500 to go through it, and shipping both ways. I cheaped out on the 5th/6th gear stuff since the car will go around 175-180 or so in 4th with a 28" tire which is about all I need for the 1/4.

The whole trans if you send em a stock one would have cost like $4500 or so...
