14 psi it did 560/585
19 psi it did 630/640

going to put some more miles on it then go back with race gas to improve on the numbers.

630 rwhp sounds pretty low for 19psi on a built engine.....

the boost range for the 3.4 is 15-30psi. so at 19 it's barely in range and timing is only at 15 degrees. we are going to put some more miles on the motor then put some race gas in with more boost and timing. This is the street tune at 11.6a/f so there is a lot more in it just haven't gotten that far yet. I just picked the truck up yesterday :)

Friggen Navy ladies I tell ya. I don't care how many PSI it makes, its how many CFM that sucker flows. Next time you go to forests dyno tell them to turn the exhaust fans on. :rolf

i'm not sure what you think it should be but it's on par with other lightnings. the cobra guys are making 650-750 with 3.4 ,better flowing 4 valve heads and more boost. There are also alot of cobra guys in the 620-650 range and patrick from psimotorsports mentioned why.

"the biggest reason people are getting low numbers is there simply is only so much timing you can get away with on pump gas at 19 + psi and once you hit that level you really are just heating your exhaust valves more with retarded timing then making more power by pumping in more boost on 93 octane."

657rwhp 18psi, 2.8kb full fuel sys, stock 4.6 cobra pump gas. Nice blower on that truck though, I never have messed around with any of the whipple stuff, looks promising for sure.

actully i do it for Rides! I figure if i can atleast get someone to stop in for race gas, then i can bag for a ride!!! I've gotten to ride shot gun in some awesome vehicles!

Ill never forget the Day Wes pulled in and gave me a ride ......his pass seat will never be the same again :headbang:thumbsup
