anyone know anybody that does garages here on BCM? I'd like to maybe get a couple quotes to:

demo my old garage and remove
do some cement work: redo part of my driveway and new garage slab
construct new garage

I can't afford it this year yet with my wedding on the horizon but my existing garage needs to go. So I'd like to start budgeting for it so possibly in the spring it can start.

Tell me your experience with builders or recommend people too...thanks!

I was quoted 17 grand for a slab and garage 32 feet deep by 34 feet wide, but I don't want to suggest you use this builder because they wouldn't listen to a word I said about what exactly I wanted.

ha ha ha ha...yea I wish! If I have to build a garage I FOR SURE won't have a new truck :(

Jd Griffiths seems to do alot of them around here.

They did one for a friend and let him do some of the work himself to save money.... Electrical, Siding, Roof...

My dad does alot of side job and stuff like this, if your interested PM your number and I can have him give you a call.

Just remember with most places you call to get quotes there only good for so long because of fluctuation in material prices. I think most of them are good for 3 months.

wow i totally forgot, that guy i was supposed to work for this summer pours concrete and stuff.i dont think he builds but you could probably get a good price from him. i could try to get his number for you if you wanted

JD Griffiths is who we're going to have our garage built through as soon as we get the shit with the landscaping taken care of. They were very attentive to what we wanted done (especially regarding security). Once we get the garage built, I'll let everyone know how they did.

my garage was Quoted 10-12k from the cheapest builder

im doing it for 6-7k !!!!!!

awesome. I'd want like a 24 x 28. Nothing real fancy. Slab, section of driveway and structure...plus a breakdown of demo-ing my old garage and removal. I'll talk to ya some more scottie for sure
