The first animal I spotted in my yard was a mean little bastard. At first, I thought it was a Badger, but my neighbor said it was something else, just cant remember what right now. The previous owner left a large pile of wood that were I think 4x10 x 10'long. Whatever this animal was, took a liking to this pile and lived under it with its children. I think there was 3 babies in there. When I removed and cut up the pile, there was a tunnel system in the dirt I had to contend with and fill. Here they are before I moved the pile:

Then I has 2 little birds that were sitting on a wire that goes over my front yard. When I was trying to leave one night, the little bastards kept attacking my. I would open the front door and they would swoop down at me. This went on for about 20 minutes until I got a broom and began to swing it at them. Then I wasa able to escape to the safety of my car.

And today, I had these things in my yard eating the grass. There was 2 of them and a baby. Again, not sure what they are, but kinda cool looking. They did not like me around and were maiking some noise when they saw me.

Those are Sandhill Cranes...fairly rare, but common compared to the very similar looking and VERY rare whooping crane." NOT a common site, so consider yourself fortunate.

I just looked up a fisher, and I dont think that is it. I did see these animals out of that area wandering around in my yard, but I did not have a camera there that day. They have low wide bodies and very short tails. I am leaning toward woodchuck or badger, but I didnt pay enough attention to the colors of the face when they were out, and in that area where they are in the picture, I did not want to get to close.

The face looks the same as the fisher, but not the body. Good call though from the pic alone.
