I would've owned my own delivery business and he was giving me a contract. He wasn't technically hiring me. He was giving me a chance to start a delivery business by giving me the contract to deliver his food. He also wanted me to drive around for FREE for the first two weeks delivering flyer's saying that he was going to start setting deliveries.

he had me under the impression that he had 4 or so locations and I would be making quite nice money. But, when I went in to talk to him the first time he said that he was looking to expand if the business took off. So if it did expand I would be running the deliveries for all the locations. Which would make since IF the business took off. But, like I said that person that told me they were there for a week or two said he had no call for deliveries, so they quit.

See this is why I needed the guidance. The guy had just started his business. He didn't even have a sign out on the building yet. Either way I don't care what everyone thinks. I did it the way i wanted it to be done and I learned more from it.

you obviously don't know what your talking about. It was the second time I was asked to appear at BBQuick. Oh and I WAS asked to give 10k for the contract. Plus the reason Lit probably wasn't asked because he probably couldn't find anyone dumb enough to take his 10k offer. Anything else you want to know. Because it sounds like your friend is just telling you what you want to hear and not what actually went down.

The way everyone makes this sound is alot worse then it is.

When I first heard this story, I heard that he took his mom to a job interview.

This wasn't a job interview, but some clown trying to sell a food delivery contract with little to no promise of profit. I don't blame him for taking his financial advisor to the interview, even if it was his mom.

Mikes mom, on the other hand, does a great job servicing my truck ( and me ) every other month.

Also, now that this comes up...my brother is a delivery driver for the pizza hut down the road from BBQuick and delivered up to BBQuick several months ago...said the owner (i'm assuming Terrance) asked him if he wanted a job...I'm assuming this same one we're talking about. Small world
