I am looking to buy a 426 HEMI

I have cash!

If you know of some one with one 4 sale please let them know I am ready to buy.

Can be a crate engine, used engine, project engine in pieces as long as its complete!

Talk to the guys at Kilpatricks. If they don't have one they would know where to get one. They are all big mopar guys there.

He doesn't have anymore hemis. I will sell you mine $14000 obo Carb to oil pan, its a 472 hemi crate, I have about 1500 miles on it, gear drive, racer brown cam, M1 intake, 900CFM demon carb. No headers though or MSD distributor I have a mopar on I can throw in. I have chrome valve covers to I would want to keep my 69 black covers but I would let it go for the right price. Its still in my Superbee and you can hear it run and we can take it for a drive. Rick 414-840-3221

BTW...what kinda 426 we talkin? Street Hemi, Super Stock, Nascar?

Is this for a driver or a date-coded resto of something really rare?

Kilpatricks had the most of anyone in the area I've seen....most if not all would need some rebuilding iirc...

Thanks for all the replies, does anyone got the number or address of Kilpatricks?

I have a bunch of leads I am looking at, like feature Pony's offer, but would just like a unstroked 426, but I know I cant be too pickey as there are not a lot around!

Shit for the prices on there it would be dumb to not buy ponys. Plus you'd have to pay shipping from that place. :wooo

I have not forgot, I have a ton of shoyeeeet on craigslist trying to dig up extra moola for feature Ponys hemi, I was hoping to find something for like $8,000 but not yet!!

I have also tossed around the Idea of a new crate Hemi with a carb conversion, it would get better gas milage, cost 1/2 the price of a 426, buts its just not old skool Hemi Muscle!

Ya! thats a bet for Ricks motor, And 1500 miles on it I think that is way over estimated more like 500:shades that thing leaves the garage like twice a year

Its for the 68 Charger in my AVTR. The 383 is fine, its just not a Hemi. At the back to the 50s car show in St Paul everyone would look under the hood and say "awwww its not a Hemi"

What stuff do you have I might do trades with cash. What would you be looking to get for the 383 I would maybe throw it in the bee to drive it around next summer till the 511 hemi gets built.

Well a 426 is just out of my price range for the moment, so I used my moola to buy a 5.7 Crate MFI Hemi, a 545RFE 5 speed auto, and this is going into my 1972 Dart.
So if anyone has some swap parts for this let me know, I need mounts and headers.

I was going to put a Hemi in the charger and the 383 from that into the Dart but the show I want it in is coming up quick now!

Thanks for all the leads, sorry could not get $14k up in time, but if I sell the Dart hmmm?
