Anyone know where I can get a cheap flat panel tv? Either LCD or Plasma will work. Something possibly under $100 or close to it? I just want to get a small tv for my computer room that I can hook my cable up to.

I do not know where you can get a flat panel for $100 but can say about 18 months ago about my wife wanted a 13'' computer room Tv and bought a sanyo brand for $80, after only 12 months it died. She wanted another 13'' to replace it and found they start at about $95 now, she ended up with a 13'' Tv/Dvd combo for $125. Hope this one lasts 2 years !@ :)

Previous Tv to the Sanyo was a "FUNAI" brand that lasted about 15 years before the coax jack loosened up and flaked out.
I think we looked at flat panels when we bought the last TV and I think the small sets start at like $250 for an off brand.

yeah. My buddy got a 13" for about $50 but that was a deal that was going on so I didn't know if anyone knew anything that was going on at the moment.

Craigslist FTW...!!! A buddy of mine just picked up a nearly new 27"-ish Sony LCD for $75, but it's all about being in the right place at the right time.....:banana1:

You have to love people with way too much $$$ that like to buy stuff brand new only to not want it anymore a few months later because it doesn't fit the new decor.....

newegg.com

or

tigerdirect.com

Watch for a few weeks and a sale will pop up. I got a 37" lcd 1080i Olevia a year and a half ago for $650 shipped when the average sale price for the thing was $1200. Its still a $900+ TV in the stores. Wholesale FTW...
