shipping/recieving with greyhound?

im buying a ws6 hood from a guy on ls1tech and he is going to ship it useing greyound...
what do i do just go to the terminal when the bus arrives and pick it up? what if i can't be thier at the time do they leave it in the waiting room?

yes, and they have a room for product shipment if you get there late or whatever. I have had things ship via greyhound in the past and never had problems.

I shipped a front bumper via greyhound and it took forever for it to get to its destination. They told me they must have lost it and to come fill out hte paper work to get my insurance money so I head down there and the guy who bought it off me called me and said thanks alot he got it and it was in good shape. It seems like they are not very organized but it is a cheap way to ship.

I agree...cheap to use but not a fast way to ship. I bought some parts and they were dropped off downtown. I finally called to find the status and they said oh yeah, they're here. Looks like no one tried to call you for them either! So I picked em up and the next day or so I got a letter in the mail saying they would be charging me storage if I didnt pick up my parts and that they had tried multiple times to contact me!

the guy shipping it said that i would get the hood within 2-3 days.. just wasn't sure how it went with the pickup situation.. do they call me or do i just go when the bus is supposed to arrive and hope its on that bus...

and as for pics i plan on posting them when i get it and get it put on.. :) can't wait
he should be shipping it first thing monday morning...

They are suppose to call you but not very good about doing so. I would call every day and find out if it arrived or not.

i payd 700 shipped but its already painted and im getting the hood grills with it and a driveshaft safty loop..

if your on ls1 tech vfn has a GP going till tuesday they are selling them for 410-500 plus shipping wich is about 150.. but they are not painted.. or prepped.

Damn sounds good. I doubt I would be able to swing it right now but Im for sure gonna check it out.
