Just like the title says, post up your thoughts on Summerfest this year. We just went last night and had a good time, sure we spent a ridiculous (to me) amount of $$$ in a few hours but you don't go because it's cheap.....

One thing I was seriously impressed with is the 'new' Harley-Davidson area, kudos to whoever was behind that project...!!! That area alone does soo much for the entire Summerfest grounds, now it's time for Miller to do something with the Oasis.....:headbang

If it was cheap to get in and beers were $1 you can bet your ass every Thug and white trash pile of crap would be there.

So I say " Good "

Summerfest is always kinda cool, although I prefer State Fair. Both pretty pricey, but worth it for the good times and memories, in my opinion. I'll probably go at some point this week. What bands are all playing this year????

They have metal detectors, scanned me, it went off like crazy because I had a huge metal flask in my pocket and told me to go in without even patting me down. hmmm...

less people this year and $8 tickets before 4pm is cool.

Virtual army game is dumb. (no offence to army members, the game doesent give you guys justice). Same goes for texas on tour, wtf is that doing here?

I went opening day and enjoyed it.... new H-D area is great..... it's too bad that they have to do the wanding thing(probably in response to RiverSplash).... but I give it a thumbs up.
