The event will now be known as the "TITO B RSD" and the date will be July 25th

*NOT THE 11th*

Tito B was one of the biggest supporters of RSD so, I would like to honor him this way.

Copied and pasted from Tuff Enuff off of Chitown for those who don't go there! Everyone we want this to be the biggest RSD so far in support of him! His car will be there and running! People are donating parts/money to get his car back up and running! Hope to see you guys there!

Yeah he was a very well know guy even alot of people that didn't really know him including myself or people that weren't on good terms with him or didn't get along on the board (Tito loved stirring the pot)! I don't have alot of money so the least I can do is help spread the word! RSD's won't be the same without him! RIP Tito B!

ooo shit! also they will have Tito B shirts for sale if they have any left and I think they're $30 and the proceeds will go to Travis family! They have stickers also if there is any more left... Some of his real close friends painted their hoods lime green for him and others at RSD will be putting lime green stripes (stickers) on their cars in memory of him!
Some of the people off of Chitown are putting their cars on KILL for Tito also! And hoping to break sh!t!

I was going to a gas station in Ktown today and they must have had a tribute going for him at the corner where the accident happened. About a hundred people there with black tshirts with green superman style emblem with a "G" in the center of them on peoples backs. There was a flat black fox there with a green hood and a couple of flat black harleys parked in the grass revin the motors.

I didnt know him or many of his friends so I just kept going but on the way home I passed a avalanche pulling his stang all shined up on a trailer heading toward that gas station.
Yeah they had a get together there.. Those are the shirts that are for sale! Yeah his funeral was today and they probably headed there after the funeral..

You can get a pretty close idea by just watching the car run.. But even if he tells people on here what the "street tune" runs people from out of state probably won't know.. And he said he won't be on the street tune.. Also I saw a bulletin posted on myspace that the Saturn will be there! :shades

12 sec @ 130-132mph on 195... is pretty good especially tires are general all season tires. my suspension is good for now and i can drive lot better than you. fyi, 11.6 is not fast at all. :chair: i can hit 11.6 with my eyes closed. :thumbsup

We will run the event until 11 PM....possibly later with a strong turnout (I am expecting this to happen so, we should be going until 11:45 which is the county limit)

We are expecting to switch from "time runs" to "street racing" around 8 PM

Lanes 2 and 3 *WILL* be open for small dollar/friendly/grudge/cheeseburger races.

Lanes 4 and 5 will be for regular time runs

Lane 1 (pro tree) is *ONLY* for cars that are on a "racing tire" and run 11.50's or quicker

Short staging will *ONLY* be for bikes, *REAL $$$ races* and the hat races <- thats it

I will have the track set to "super hook" during time runs and I will "re-prep" it again when we switch to "street racing"

12 sec @ 130-132mph on 195... is pretty good especially tires are general all season tires. my suspension is good for now and i can drive lot better than you. fyi, 11.6 is not fast at all. :chair: i can hit 11.6 with my eyes closed. :thumbsup

Ron, I got a visit from Jim's Shop boys.....all i can say is LOL. We had a blast in the station, and i can only imagine what they are like out at the track. I told them next time they are picking me up to go with. Loaded the cooler, got the Race gas, and went on their way cranking their music! :D

I did one run. No traction issues, but i took the 2-step out so it didnt hit boost in 1st till after the 60'. Still went mid 11s in the mid 130's with a 2.0 60' Gotta new 2 step coming and slicks. Ill keep trying it with the low boost since its already making more steam than last years higher boost. Not to mention its fun on the street now because its not constantly on the rev limiter. Now that the car is reliable, i feel comfortable really digging in the heels on getting a some good e/t's from it.

Seeing George's car run down the track made the night worthwhile :thumbsup glad scott got the plugs down to the track and the crew got you back on the road once we dug up a spark plug socket that'd work :D

It was pretty awesome seeing that car stretch its legs out
