I've never tried it with a package, but I have sent envelopes full of sand, lead shot, shredded paper, etc... back to junk mail companies before. Actually ever since I went to the Direct Marketing Association's website and went through the "removal" process (well, and then moved twice in 6 months) I don't get really ANY junk mail anymore.
