How wide is the average car hauler?

Gonna be building a car hauler, but I need the axle length and there are a few different "standard" axle lengths. How wide is the average car trailer?

The choices for axles are:

85" hub face and 70" spring perch center mounts for a 72" wide trailer frame.
89" hub face and 74" spring perch center mounts for a 76" wide trailer frame.
91" hub face and 76" spring perch center mounts for a 78" wide trailer frame.
95" hub face and 80" spring perch center mounts for an 82" wide trailer frame.

Most of them I've looked at recently are advertised 82" (102" overall) between fenders. Don't know if that helps you. I would make it as wide as possible because there's nothing I hate more than driving a car on a trailer and crawling out the window. You may also want to check state laws on legal width and go as reasonably close to that as you want.
